Dynasties of Asia offers this unique and rare
antique Chinese pottery bottle from the Yellow River in Henan
Province. It was made between 5000-3000 BCE.
This unique Yangshao bottle was handmade without
the use of a wheel, and rope was used to create the striations
that are seen running vertically around the bottle.
It is unglazed, and the finish is considered to be the precursor
to the introduction of glazed pottery around 3000 BCE.
In remarkable condition with only a few frits at
the lip of this rare example of a pottery bottle from the
Yahgshao Culture is worthy to consider for investment.
