Rare Ming Dynsaty Huanghuali Box
Dynasties of Asia has acquired a ONE-OF-A-KIND Huanghuali Box
made during the Ming Dynasty.
This ONE-OF-A-KIND Huanghuali box features copper hardware with
an Ironwood (also very rare) insert and bottom.
During the Ming Dynasty, Huanghuali (Yellow Rosewood) was used
for making classical furnishings that are valued by collectors
of Chinese antiques and accessories.
Because Huanghuali was difficult to locate, the precious wood
was imported from Vietnam.
Huanghuali wood is considered by experts and collectors as a
commodity that will increase in value due to the extinction of
Huanghuali wood.
This 500+ year old Huanghuali box therefore demands attention as
a worthy investment.
